Marianne signs major publishing CONTRACT - March 2, 2009
Marianne Allison, has signed a multi-song publishing contract with TelePictures Music© – A Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
One of the songs under the contract, “2 Am”, was produced by Grammy Nominated Producer, Tim Coons. Tim has worked with The Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Jo Jo, Rob Thomas and Rihanna and many other major recording artists.

Marianne’s new music career is a distinct contrast to her former profession. Marianne was a successful Certified Public Accountant, who decided to pursue a dream – a life in music. And that dream has become a thrilling reality, with a fast growing fan base and acclaim for her award-winning blend of folk, pop and acoustic songwriting.
This major publishing deal with TelePictures Music© was preceded by Marianne winning the 2007 Grand Prize for the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, with her song “This World”. She was also the winner of the annual Lennon Award. Marianne was also the winner of the 2009 - 100% Music Songwriting Contest, based in France. As a result, EMI Publishing awarded Marianne a publishing contract for her song “This World”.
Marianne also placed as a finalist in four other international songwriting competitions with songs from her debut album “From the Water”. Since winning, she has received extensive national and international FM and internet radio play from the debut album.
Marianne’s debut album, “From the Water”, showcased her talents as a singer and songwriter and demonstrated her incisive lyrics, gorgeous melodies and luminous voice. As a result, she is currently working in a highly anticipated new album on the way in early spring 2009.
Marianne currently is playing at major casino resorts regionally, such as the IP Casino Resort Spa with her band- Marianne and the République.
